Sagip Buhay -- Literally "to save lives".
Established in the 1990s, brought about by the increasing costs of healthcare and out of pocket expenses causing a good number of Filipinos to face sudden financial catastrophy, the Sagip Buhay Medical Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to deliver quality health care to each and every Filipino.
The foundation does this by providing procedures, financial support, medications, and equipment for our less fortunate brothers and sisters admitted at the Medicine Wards and ICUs of the Philippine General Hospital (PGH). We work hand-in-hand with the Department of Medicine of the PGH in order to serve our countrymen and women.
Sagip Buhay offers hope to those struggling with disease. It helps alleviate the burdens of both the patients and their families. All this we are able to do with the continued support of generous patrons and sponsors.
